Uriel

Uriel stands in the north — the direction of earth, embodiment, and illumination made manifest. Where Raphael, Michael, and Gabriel address the subtle bodies, Uriel brings the wisdom down into form. He is the angel of the long view: of the ancestors, the deep roots, the mountain that has seen everything and remembers.

His symbol is the five-pointed gold star surrounded by ruby red fire. The pentagram-star is the symbol of the human-as-divine — head, arms, and legs outstretched — and of the five elements brought into harmony. Ruby red is the frequency of the root, of sacred embodiment, of wisdom seeded into the physical plane.

Uriel's flame does not flicker wild or flow like water; it glows steady, like the coals at the heart of a fire that has burned all night. To call Uriel is to remember that the cosmos can be lived in a body, and that the body itself is a sacred book.
