Sandalphon

Sandalphon is Metatron's twin along the vertical axis — where Metatron holds the cosmic above, Sandalphon holds the crystalline earth below. In the tradition, Sandalphon is said to have ascended from the prophet Elijah, making both vertical-axis angels former humans who completed their passage into light. Sandalphon is rendered here as androgynous, as the Earth-gate guardian who carries the Mother's signature while bridging spirit and matter.

The symbol is the rose — the ancient sign of unfolding beauty, the sacred feminine, the heart of the earth mother herself. Where every other angel's flame wraps around or descends, Sandalphon's silver-white fire *rises from below*, moving up through the feet, the legs, the belly, and into the heart. This is the single most important signature of this being: the current moves upward, because that is the direction of the earth-gate blessing.
